As part of our commitment to achieving excellent usability for all users of our website, regardless of factors such as age or disability, KK Sapporo Shinko Kosha continues our efforts to improve the accessibility of this website.
In compliance with JIS X 8341-3:2016, “Guidelines for older persons and persons with disabilities – Information and communications equipment, software and services – Part 3: Web content”, as amended on March 22nd, 2016, we have established the following accessibility guidelines.
1. Defining “Web Accessibility”
“Web Accessibility” is defined as providing the facility for all users, inclusive of groups such as the elderly and those with disabilities, to utilize the information and functionality of web contents, such as websites, without impairment. (Source: Everyone’s Public Website Operational Guidelines (2016 Fiscal Year Version), Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications).
- Websites translated into other languages
Due to impracticality of supporting web accessibility for pages which are automatically translated, such pages are not included in the scope.
- Contents provided via external services
Contents provided via external services, including SNS buttons such as Facebook and Twitter, Google Maps, and the like, are excepted.
However, to the extent possible, substitute text information shall be provided for map information provided via Google Maps.
- PDF Files
While all possible considerations are made for achievement standards in the creation of PDF files, due to data volume and technical constraints, it is presently impractical to support Web Accessibility for all PDF files. Accordingly, such files are not included in the scope.
- Pages including video content
To the extent possible, we provide substitute text information for video files, however, it is presently impractical to support web accessibility for all video files. Accordingly, such pages are not included in the scope.
